Ever since i got my 79 which was about 2 years ago to this date, it has always chattered around corners and made clunking nosies. now when i say it chatters, i mean it actually feels like a tire is locking in place and then releasing the force of forward motion which feels like the whole frame is flung into its proper position after this happens. i just purchased some O.E.M GM Posi-fluid from Ecklers.com and a few other items as well. I have already had the rear bearings and seals replaced Profesionally by Goodyear which raped me for 1300.00 just to do front/rear bearings and all new rotors...with my discount from Napa, i could have had all that for about less then 100 bucks...back to the point. hopefully i will get those parts soon next week and install it, by the way, how hard is it to change the rear differential gasket and fluid on a 79? seems like a couple of bolts, but ya never know with a vette, could be some hidden trick...
