posted 5/31/04 12:10:13 AM Here is what I have so far, World products Motown block, Ohio crakshaft forged 4" stroke crank, Ohio crank 6" H beam rods. Will be using 10:1 JE pistons. Im trying to decide on a set of heads, intake and cam. I like Dart heads and was thinking of going with the 230cc aluminum heads but wasnt sure if these would be too big for a streetable engine becuse of lower air veocity compared to the 215cc head. Was looking at the Victor jr and Super Victor intakes, any opinions here? Looking at going hyd. roller cam Crane has 2 stroker cams 230/238 539/558 and 240/248 558/558 These numbers look good to me for a streetable engine. Im not going to spin it really high 6000 maybe 6500 tops. I know these big small blocks need to be built different just need to make sure Im on the right path here. I hate to dissapoint you guys but its not going in a vette its going in my McLaren M6 replica that should weigh in at no more than 2500 with a Porsche 5 speed trans. Being so light I dont think Ill need tons of low end torque probably be better off with more top end hp Im guessing. Thanks for any help guys,I hope to own a C5 vette someday love those cars.
