posted 2/14/04 10:15:52 PM Does anybody have any ideas about why my gauge lights are all out on my 1979 vette (driver and center console)? I checked the fuse and it's fine and has power. All of the other lights in the car work except for the instrument lights. I also checked the lightbulbs and they're all good. I'm desperate at this point, so any help would be great. Thanks.

posted 2/22/04 10:58:42 PM Just a thought but did you check your light switch, it has a dimmer control which may not be functioning.

posted 3/9/04 7:01:12 AM I have the same problem with my 77 -- found the fuse marked gagues and it was good -- oh no what could it be --- then I spotted the cute little fuse marked inst. lmp. and sure enough it was blown --- I have it with me, meant to get by the auto parts store yesterday, but didn't make it.
