I am having a problem finding a starter for my 69. It has a 67 327 in it with a Turbo 400. The starter has stagered holes and a small nose. All the starters I get from the parts stores have a large nose on it and mine has a small one. Can I just trim the trany cover and use the larger nose starter.

never mind, Advance finaly came through for me and found an exact fit.
