Your reply:	I have a 69 and took the body off myself about 6 yrs ago. I left everything in place seats, bumpers everything. After disconnecting the body mounts, I care fully just started jacking the body up and disconnected anything that was still connected. I kept jacking a little at a time from the front then the back then the front etc. and supported with wood as I went up until I got it high enough to rest the body on 55 gal drums with 4x4 under the body. Actually I was supprise how simple it went. Just make sure you lable everything and take pictures.... Other then that it went well and I did it myself too!! Good Luck
